The month of love is right around the corner and I want you to consider self-love. Self-love is the love of self. When practicing self-love you make the value for your own happiness a necessity. You must pour love into yourself before you can truly love others unconditionally. Ask yourself the questions below.
SAY, “Self,”
🤎 …am I you consciously practicing self-love?
🤎 …do I think about what I love about myself?
🤎 …do I practice self-care on a regular basis?
🤎 …how often do I put myself first?
These are some of the questions you need to consider when you are thinking about if you are even considering self-love as a form of Wellness. Self-love supports our physical, psychological, and spiritual growth. When you practice self-love you are practicing appreciation for yourself; you are also putting your well-being and happiness before all else. Some might consider the pure act of self-love selfish but sometimes we have to be a little selfish with ourselves in order for us to be our best selves for our spouses, children, close friends, and other loved ones.
